You know this movie if you grew up in the 80's like I did. You probably remember some of the lines too. My dad loved this movie. I loved this movie. This is the complete soundtrack for 80's underdogs everywhere. So for some of you play this soundtrack loud with pride and declare "Yeah, I'm a nerd and I'm pretty proud of it!" LOL!!! The famous line from Lewis. This movie's pretty raunchy just the way I like it. BTW anyone hear of that aborted remake that was supposed to come out last year? Here's the teaser poster:

Seems the college they were shooting at didn't approve of the raunchy content so the project has been shelved. Sucks! I had hopes for this movie. I also know that the kid Linderman from Freddy Vs. Jason was gonna be one of the lead (if not the lead) nerds in this remake. That would've been some funny shit! Hehehehe. Maybe someday they'll resurrect this remake. Cross your fingers everybody.

Gibert: She's not that kind of girl, Booger.
Booger: Why? Does she have a penis? -----pt. 1 of download
Lewis: Jocks only think about sports, nerds only think about sex.---pt. 2 of download
UPDATE 1: As you can see now the tracklisting is now in its proper order according to how it plays in the film. Thanks go out to Phaota and J. for providing the missing tracks, the proper order, and remastering the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra rendition of "We Are The Champions". He removed the hiss. Good job! J. provided the extremely hard to find instrumental version of "We Are The Champions" used in the film. You're a life saver J. Way to go! Also the artwork for the back cover is now updated. Now you can download away again people for this ost. If you've downloaded already please accept my humble apologies for basically fucking up. This is worth your download time people if you enjoy this film. The missing songs are fun and it plays better as a album in its proper order.
UPDATE 2: My computer's being lame and iTunes as well. I had to arrange the tracks differently than usual in the RAR file. But if you import them into your mp3 program and they don't play contact me ASAP. No it's not a virus. I scan EVERYTHING I post on this blog. It should play and be in the correct order when imported. But let me know if it doesn't. As a matter of fact if someone who downloads this new version of the album can tell me if it works for them it'd be great and I'd really appreciate it. Thanx in advance. And enjoy the Revenge Of The Nerds soundtrack they should've released! :D
UPDATE 3: The updates keep on coming for this post - sheesh! Anyway my good friend Jordan has just informed that the Thrilller track is screwy. So for you people I give you a version that works. Don't worry it's the same bitrate - good ol' 320. I updated the pt. 1 rar file with the correct Thriller as well for you future downloaders too.
UPDATE 4: Tracklisting correction alert! The mystery song previously known as "Bicycle Built For Two" is now revealed to be called "Daisy Bell" by a Japanese singer named Haruomi Hosono. Thanks to fellow reader "adebisineedstits"! I'll update the back cover when I get a chance. Sorry folks for the error. No one I asked knew the song name or title for sure until this helpful chap chipped in with info. You rock pal!
download the corrected version of "Thriller" here.

Man, I am totally diggin' what you're doing with this blog. These expanded soundtracks are the SHIT! I've tried to make my own 'complete' soundtracks to so, so, so many movies. It's so awesome to these compiled like this with artwork and all. How you got Gary Shorelle's version of "Waitin' In School" for the Pulp Fiction is waaay beyond me! I would've sworn that didn't exist.
Anyway, I've heard the Japanese song in this is called "Bicycle Built For Two" but the actual artist is still unknown.
Also, I can tell you that Bobby "Boris" Pickett's classic song "Monster Mash" opened up Halloween '07 in the workprint instead of Kiss' "God Of Thunder". I paid pretty close attention to the soundtrack while I was watching and other than different edits of Rush and Black Sabbath I didn't hear any other songs that weren't in the final cut.
Ok pal o' mine. Keep up the great work and i'll help out as much as I can!
hey shane,
very rockin news to hear my friend. that makes me feel good to know that my work is paying off and my readers are digging me and my friends Fritz's and J's work on the custom soundtracks we've been pumping out.
More's on the way my friend. that's really cool that you've made "complete" soundtracks of your own. care to share any my pal? I can post and give you credit. and if it's missing anything i can hunt for it or try to see if i can whip up artwork for it with your credit of course. actually that Pulp Fiction song wasn't too hard for me to find. found it on two very popular file sharing proggys i use.
wow thanks for the song tip. i'l update the post with your credit as to the one who knew the name of the song. thanks man! you rule!
Yeah i saw that scene in the workprint and recognized that song Monster Mash. i just didn't know who performed it since that song's before my time i believe. i'm a kid of the 80's. i still have to watch the workprint in its entirety. i've been so busy with downloading torrents, songs, friends, and working on the blog. oh and watching dvds that are older and gathering dust in my big collection of dvd storage boxes.
thanks for writing pal. i'll keep posting on the blog you keep reading :).
take care.
Hey you're quite welcome! I'm glad to help and Yeah! I believe I could contribute. One that comes to mind is Bachelor Party (1984). Tom Hanks best role ever and a perfect fucking comedy. I actually ripped the best possible score for this from the dvd at 320 and contributed it to the official Bachelor Party website.
Now the dude from THAT site put together a soundtrack complete with songs that weren't originally on the soundtrack and I can bundle those up for a hell of a package. In fact, the 'Angel And The Reruns' song "Nature Took Over" that wasn't included on the soundtrack wasn't EVER available and he contacted the band personally and begged for a copy. So, you can imagine it's pretty hard to come by. Give me a little time to get it together.
In case you've never heard of the movie, it's an absolute gem worth buying. And if it sweetens the deal, Eli Roth is showing it this Friday at the New Bev Theater in LA as part of his "Greats Of Roth" film festival. I'd kill to go. Man, it deserves more recognition.
Okay fella, i'll be in touch.
hey shane,
cool man. i'll have to check that out custom ost of Bachelor Party out. or should i wait till you get that 'Angel And The Reruns' song so you can update it? let me know pal. let me know when you can bundle it up then pal :)
i grew up watching Bachelor Party. i love that movie. i don't have the DVD but i have a copy i taped off cable of that movie. wow that's cool what Eli Roth is doing. If only people like him would have festivals near where i live on long island, ny. everything cool is always happening in CA! it sucks for me :(
oh well. guess i oughta take a trip to CA again sometime soon.
take care pal.
ahh just like salad!
mBane
hey mBane,
lol! love those lines from this movie.
"Hair Pie! Thank You! Hair Pie! Thank You!"
take care.
Hey Gang,
Love the site... these are some of the best soundtracks Ive found in a while.
But....(yup a nasty little but)
Your mission impossible track for Nerds is the wrong one.
The one they used in the movie is a version by Billy May and it's on a cd called "Ultra Lounge - The Crime Scene" You can find it on amazon.
happy Hunting
Ramze
hello,
thanks pal.
i was aware that it was the wrong one. my supplier of the track was aware too but couldn't find the right one. but now that you let us know the name of the composer and cd we'll try to get it on here asap. thanks for writing good buddy.
take care.
The song during the bike race "bicycle built for two" is actually called "Daisy Bell". This version is sung in Japanese by Haruomi Hosono.
Mystery solved.
hey adebisineedstits!
ohhh ok. Thanks for that info my friend. Mystery is indeed solved. Damn wish i knew you before posting this custom ost ;). Gotta update the post now....
take care.
WHER CAN I DOWNLOAD THAT BICYCLE TRACK?
hey cheech.
i'll send your way soon. i still have to get off my lazy ass and update this shit. so many projects so little time...
take care.
I've been looking for just the music (not the lyrics) of the Tri-Lam/Omu concert scene near the end of the movie. (I'm not interested in the other music tracks.) Some movie reviewers say the scene is a parody of a performance by the German electronic-music band Kraftwerk. I don't know if the music itself is theirs. Any ideas on how just the one track can be found? Thanks!
hey pal,
that track is called "They're So Incredible" by Revenge. it's on this custom soundtrack edition. but if you don't wanna download it you can always try file sharing programs i'm sure it's on there somewheres.
take care.
Here's a link to a site that has a fair amount to say about the "Bicycle built for two" or "Daisy Bell" song.
hey pal,
wow! that's a very interesting read right there. thanks a ton. i learned a lot about this mysterious song. one thing i found amazing was that one of my favorite bands Blur covered this song. Pretty damn cool if i do say.
thanks again for posting the link my friend. Cheers!
It appears as though I was mistaken about the artist!
His name is actually Brian Tochi.
The previous artist I named was a collaborator or co-writer, I believe.
You can find the full uncut song on the link below and I'm sure some of you are clever enough to extract it yourselves.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mkADGdqI-8
Sorry about the confusion.
Sorry again, but the original artist info was correct and Brian Tochi was the actor from the movie.
HAHAHA!
Anyway, here's a link to the song on Youtube.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mkADGdqI-8
Ya'll can extract it from there, i'm sure.
hey adebisineedstis
thanks for the tip pal. this sounds like it but it's not the same version as heard in the movie. this movie was on last night on cable and i confirmed it. thanks tho. i shall extract it. i'll include it in a post when Fox releases it the movie on blu-ray. hopefully it'll have a 5.1 track so that i can extract the score. thanks again man.
take care.
Hi, Please tell me the name of the song at the end of the movie when all the Black guys line up for "lam da lam da"..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tt7C3dqaJ-I&feature=related
heres a video link on youtube.
please let me know.. thanks
hey layzee
love that cue. yeah sorry man i have no idea what it's called. i'm assuming it's a cue made by the composer. the score was never released and i can't extract it from the dvd without it having dialogue and sfx with it. the reason is cause the dvd is not in 5.1 dolby. i'm hoping the blu-ray will have it in 5.1 so that i can finally upgrade this soundtrack and include the score finally. keep your fingers crossed.
take care.
