Class of Nuke 'Em High (1986) - Soundtrack - Various Artists (Thanks Phaota!)

This Troma "classic" is about students at a high school that's located next to a nuclear power plant. They start acting and looking strange after buying contaminated drugs from a plant worker. If you have a warped sense of humor, then you will most likely dig this film like most other Troma movies. This soundtrack was a custom one put together by my good friend Phaota. Sourced from mostly obscure 80's albums and the movie itself, this is probably gonna be as complete as it's gonna get for now. The Troma DVD, like most (if not all?), did not have a 5.1 Dolby track. Because of that, Phaota was unable to isolate the music and add the score tracks to this release. But then again, if there was a 5.1 track on the DVD, chances are it wouldn't be a true one that could be ripped. Troma just doesn't put much care into their disc releases. Yeah, there's usually tons of extras on their more popular titles, but the quality control on the picture and audio transfer on the movie itself is seriously lacking. Not even the few Blu-rays they've released so far have much of a upgrade over their DVD editions. Below you'll find a listing of songs that we couldn't find for this soundtrack. If any of you readers come across these tracks, send us a email or chime in on the ol' Cbox or comments section for this post. Personally, I'd love to have a copy of the soundtrack for "The Toxic Avenger". Sadly, it seems none of the tracks from that film have surfaced yet. Damn shame. :(

Thanks for all these marvels.
The full song "Angel" (3.55) by GMT is on a mini LP "One by One" or a CD edition called "Wargames".
You can find it here for example: http://abominogjnr.blogspot.com/search/label/GMT

No problem, I'm glad to help. You can credit me if you want, that's nice but it's no big deal. I'm making a compilation actually about Troma for my blog, I'll tell you when it's other. You may found some stuff you like.
I already did a few comp as "the Repo Man Companion OST" for example.
I just posted the french LP of the "Hard Rock ZOmbie" complete soundtrack.
Anyway thanks for your blog, let's keep in touch. ;)

hey otto

sounds good pal. yeah definitely let me know when your troma compilation comes out.

wow! your two blogs are awesome! i'll add your blogs to my blogroll on my blog. thanks btw for adding my blog already on yours. btw just in case you didn't know unfortunately my video blog The Insomnia Video Stash is dead. shut it down sometime last year i think it was. it was basically because for 2 reasons one i wasn't reaching a wide enough audience to keep it going and two i couldn't handle operating two blogs at once. at first it was 3 blogs at once. that 3rd blog was a albums only blog The Hellfire Music Hall. basically the same 2 reasons applied to that as well.

ttyl pal. take care.

I knew them all, I saw that "The Insomnia Video Stash " was closed down, but forgot to take it off my blog roll. It's hard to keep more than one blog and still posting. My second one is only about french language obsure stuff, but I don't post very often.
Anyway keep the good things coming Man, some people stay silent but they still appreciate. That's the way it is. ;)

hey otto

oh ok. yeah i enjoyed doing insomnia video stash while it was around but eventually i grew tired of the lack of a audience thing.

but you are right about people being silent but still being appreciative. i didn't think that way back then but do now. even tho i gave up on insomnia and hellfire blogs i intend to stick with inferno for as long as i possibly can.

take care.
