Hiking through the Yorkshire moors of Northern England, two American students are viciously attacked. Jack is dead, David wounded and suffering terrible nightmares. Explanations to the Police and medical staff about a animal attack fall on deaf ears. David's nightmare engulfs reality when Jack returns from the dead with a tale of what really happened to them with an unsettling look into David's future. Featuring ground-breaking Oscar winning special make up by Rick Baker and from the director John Landis (The Blues Brothers, Trading Places & Michael Jackson's Thriller), a masterpiece of macabre with a touch of humour.
Celebrating 30 years of excellence since it's original release. An American Werewolf In London continues to be the standard for all 4 longed fiend films and scaring new generations of horror fans like it did me back in the 1980s.
The following album contains all score and song pieces along with the complete BBC Radio dramatization and Meco Monardo's Impression's of ... ... and I thrown in a couple of unique extras: Youtube has many bunny version of this movie, that movie in 30 secs as well as this movie in 5 secs videos and I got to thinking about doing an audio version, putting the movie in a nutshell in a track. The finished product is 'Ill-fated Journey'. The last is a special interview with director Landis where he gives a complete pitch on his 'Werewolf' sequel and why it was never made, quite a fetching listen.
Hope you guys enjoy this 30th anniversary presentation as well as the awesome new artwork by Ghostface.
